I am a web and user experience designer with a passion for teaching and speaking . . . at heart, I’m a problem solver who advocates for the user to craft digital products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences for users. I especially enjoy understanding user behavior, and I exercise my empathy to really learn and understand how users think, what problems they have, and importantly, how they feel so I can improve the user experience.
I’m a Vermonter with 19+ years of corporate design and web experience with Verizon and founder of Swift Trek Media in Huntington, Vermont. I help small-medium size businesses and non-profits successfully shape their digital products. In between working with my clients: I teach Interaction Design at Champlain College and speak at tech conferences about the work I do and what it has taught me.
I earned MS degrees in Internet Strategy Management and in Information Technologies from Marlboro College Graduate School.
During my offline time, I can be found enjoying family and outside creating my own adventurous experiences.
